Clinical observation of Huazhuojiedu recipe on the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia

Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia treated by Huazhuojiedu recipe.Methods 108 cases of chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia were randomly divided into two groups.Treatment group(n=63) received Huazhuojiedu recipe.Patients in control group(n=45) were treated by Weifuchun tablets.Clinical,endoscopic and pathological effects were evaluated after 120 days.Statistical symptom scores were analyzed.Results The total effective rate of clinical,endoscopic and pathological effects in treatment group were 90.48%,84.13% and 82.45%,respectively.The total effective rate of clinical,endoscopic and pathological effects in control group was 75.56%,66.67% and 60.00%,respectively.The total effective rate of clinical,endoscopic and pathological effects in treatment group were higher than those in control group(P0.05).Symptom score after treatment was decreased in comparison with that before treatment in two groups(P0.05).Symptom score in treatment group was superior to that in control group(P0.05).Conclusion Huazhuojiedu recipe has better clinical efficacy on the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia.
