Abstract

Objective: To observe the effect of verapamil and 6 chemotherapeutic agents vincristine,adriamycin,bleomycin,cyclophosphamide,5-Fu,cisplatin on the P-glucoprotein(P-gp) of the KBV200 cell line. Methods: Flow cytometer(FCM) assay was used to investigate the expression of P-gp on the KBV200 cell line in the different conditions. Results: Verapamil act with vincristine, adriamycin, pingyangmycin and cyclophosphamide separately decreased expression of P-gp on KBV200 cell line by 80.17%,89.69%,19.19% and 53.48% Among all the combinations, the synergistic effects of varapamil act with vincristine and adriamycine show a better effect. Conclusion: Verapamil act with vincristine, adriamycin, pingyangmycin and cyclophosphamide separately can decrease expression of P-gp on KBV200 cell line significantly, and can reverse the drug resistance of KBV200 cell line.
