Clinical Research Progress of Acupuncture Therapy to Different Special Parts of Body on Treating Depression

Acupuncture therapy for depression has got more attention than before in recent years.This article mainly summarized and discussed about scalp acupuncture,eye acupuncture,ear acupuncture,tongue acupuncture,abdominal acupuncture.It definitely approved the validity and advantage of acupuncture therapy to treat depression,and showed the development of comprehensive acupuncture therapies for depression,especially acupuncture therapies of different part of body.The article chose acupuncture therapies of different special part of body'except fourteen meridians.Meanwhile,the author pointed out some weakness in those studies and the possible direction of acupuncture for depression in the future.
