Abstract
A loop heat pipe heat sink with new structure is brought forward and a performance testing experiment equipment of loop heat pipe is established.The thermal conductivity including startup performance,temperature uniformity and thermal resistance of loop heat pipe is studied in the different heat load and tilt angles under the same test condition.The obtained results indicate that the thermal resistance of the heat pipe heat sink varies in the range of 0.21 K/W-2.6 K/W and its temperature distribution field is very even.Compared with the conventional LED heat sinks,the heat pipe heat sink has the features of high efficiency of heat dissipation,compact construction,convenient manufacture,low thermal resistance,light weight,low cost,etc.,which meets the demand of heat dissipation for high power LED.
