Abstract
By adding β-cyclodextrin as chiral selector into mobile phase and in Sibutramine hydrochloride ,sibutramine hydrochloride enantiomers were separated using non-chiral C18 column in high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).In the mobile phase composed of methano-H2O(50∶50,V/V ) containing 0.8 mmol/L β-cyclodextrin at pH=6,the two enantiomers were well separated in 5.7 minutes. The mechanism of chiral separation through adding chiral selector into mobile phase was also discussed.
