Abstract

Objective To investigate the safety and efficacy of dexmedetomidine in laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods Thirty-two patients ASA grade Ⅰ or Ⅱ,scheduled for selective 1aparoscopic cholecystectomy were randomly assigned to two groups:group D(intravenous dexmedetomidine 0.6 μg/kg),group C(normal saline). Each group had sixteen cases.Group D and group C respectively received dexmedetomidine and normal saline ten minutes before the operation by ways of intravenous infusion(the duration of infusion was ten minutes). The maintainence of anesthesia used by isoflurane inhalation in both two groups.Patients' blood pressure, heart rate, alveolar air concentration of isoflurane and the time of extubation were recorded at the time of entering the operating room, skin incision and extubation. Results Compared with group D at the time of skin incision and extubation, the blood pressure and heart rate of group C were significantly increased in(P0.05).In group C,the blood pressure and heart rate at the time of skin incision and extubation were significantly increased compared with basic(P0.05).The incidence of postoperative restlessness was significantly lower(P0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine can make patients' hemodynamics more stable and the recovery more rapid and complete.
