Cultivation and Development Environment of Regional Innovative Personnel:An Empirical Study Based on 259 Questionnaires

Abstract

As the innovation of science and technology has become a powerful driving force of regional economic transformation recently,the cultivation and development of regional talents i.e.innovative talents of science and technology are becoming especially important.Based on 259 questionnaires of talents of science and technology in Nantong City,Jiangsu Province,this paper finds that these talents in Nantong city are characterized by their outstanding expertise,dual mode of professional development and high concern over salary.A research into and analysis of the development environment of these talents indicates that more emphasis should be laid upon the degree of attention to their work and their salary.Accordingly,effective measures should be taken to form a favorable development environment for the regional innovative talents of science and technology,including the cultivation of talents from local regions,the upgrading of talent carriers and the innovation of ecological environment.
