Abstract

The fault of some active service aero engine was collected and dressed, the averaging method and the Weibull distribution method with two and three parameters were used to statistical analyze the 89 faults time between failures of the aero engine so that the MTBF of the aero engine is acquired. The result shows that the Weibull distribution with two and three parameters can describe the true distribution rule of the time between failures of the aero engine well, and its result for MTBF is more reasonable and believable.
