Abstract

The study of ancient Chinese literary theories experienced 3 periods:From 1920s to the end of 1940s,it took shape into an independent subject;Since the foundation of New China till the “Cultural Agriculture”,Marxism was confirmed as its theoretical basis;During the modern times,a pluralistic study structure is developed.When look through the history of ancient Chinese literary theories study,each new step is promoted by an new ideological trend.Nowadays,the study of “theories” would be strengthened instead of the study of “history”in our research work.
