Abstract
1,3-Benzodioxole was first synthsized by reaction of catechol and dichloromethane without the presence of catalyst in high pressure reaction kettle. It was investigated the influence of solvent, acid binder (type, amount),temperature and the mole ratio of the reactants on the reaction yield, and gave the optimized reaction condition in which the title compound was synthesized in 75%yield.The main byproduct(cyclic ether) was also first isolated and determined by ~1HNMR and MS.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
