Abstract

A new method of synthesizing 1,3-Benzodioxole was proposed.1,3-Benzodioxole was prepared by using dichloromethane and catechol as material, used condensation to drain away of water in reaction system. The effect of reaction tempecture and time on the yield was researched, and the optimum process conditions were confirmed:44g catechol in 40mL DMSO,43mL dichloromethane,45.7% solusion of sodium hydroxide, reaction temperture 110~115℃,reaction time 2~3h.
