Analysis of the effect of preoperative mental intervention on alleviating anxiety and postoperative painof operating patients

Objective To discuss whether preoperative mental intervention could alleviating anxiety and postoperative pain for operating patients.Methods 220 cases of operating patients from Jan.2012 to Nov.2012 were retrospectively analyzed and were divided into intervention group and regular group,the regular group was treated with general nursing,the intervention group was treated with mental intervention in addition to general nursing.Results The preoperative and postoperativeanxiety value of intervention group were 58.7±9.3,24.8±6.2 respectively,while the regular group were 57.5±3.4,47.2±7.4,there was a statistical significance between two groups(P 0.01).The postoperative rating scale of intervention group was obviously lower than regular group(P 0.05).Conclusion Preoperative mental intervention has a good effect on alleviating anxiety and postoperative pain of operating patients,and it worth to be promoted in clinical therapy.
