Abstract

Objective To explore the normal ranges for hematology,biochemical indexes and organ-body ratios of SD rats.Method The data were collected from 100 female and male rats respecively in 10 experiments.Results There was significant gender difference in liver weight,kidney weight,spleen weight and spleen-body ratio.All the hematology and biochemical indexes were significantly different except for basophil,blood glucose and aspartate aminotransferase by gender.Conclusion The normal range of all the indexes are consistent with reported literatures,and there are significantly gender difference in most of the indexes.
