Compare Mencius's Morality Idea with Xunzi's

Abstract

The two masters Mencius and Xunzi in XianQin constitute their different morality idea based on the inside and the outside of the human nature.Mencius attached importance to heart nature inherent in human being,while Xunzi thought a lot of habits and education.But both of them thought that one can reach the perfect stage of morality and their moral examples is similar.When they put the morality forward in society,Mencius's Renzhengand Xunzi's Wangzhican be complementation.
