Cultural Changes in Modern China and the Rise of the Theory of Fiction

The rise of the theory of fiction in modern China has epoch\|making significance. It has changed traditional literature and theory on the position of culture and literary style, and has promoted literary creation and transformation of literary style from pre\|modern to modern. However the rise of the theory of fiction in China is not a pure event in literature. It is just because of the developing law of literature itself, the need of social changes, arising of new knowledge, system and the enlightenment from foreign literary viewpoints that has brought about the modern transformation of the theory of fiction in China, and this has had a widespread influence on social culture.
