Abstract
The sensitizing effects of several micelles and micoremulsion on the spectrophotometric determination of indium with salicylic fluorone were investigated. The results showed that OP microemulsion had the strongest sensitizing effect, and thus it was selected as the sensitizer to determine indium. The color reaction of salicylic fluorine with indium indicated that a stable red complex could be formed in HAc-NaAc buffer medium in the presence of OP microemulsion. The complex had maximum absorption peak at 522 nm and the apparent molar absorptivity was 1.91×105 L·mol-1·cm-1.Beer′s law was obeyed for In(Ⅲ) in the range of 0-2.0 μg/mL.The proposed method had been applied to the determination of indium in lead with RSD(n=6) of 2.7% and the recovery of 102%.
