Abstract

Objective To investigate fundus arteriosclerosis in the different age groups, and explore the correlation between fundus arteriosclerosis and risk factors. Methods A total of 1 391 cases of faculty in different age groups were investigated for fundus arteriosclerosis blood pressure, blood lipids and others. Results Fundus arteriosclerosis was found in 382 people, accounting for 27.5% of the total number.Of the 382 people, hypertension was found in 177 people, accounting for 46.3%,and hyperlipidemia was found in 153 people, accounting for 40.0%.Fundus arteriosclerosis was found in 218 male patients, accounting for 32.0%,and in 164 women, accounting for 23.0%.Conclusions Fundus arteriosclerosis was age-related,and correlated with hypertension and hyperlipidemia and other lifestyle factors. Therefore early prevention, diagnosis and treatment of hypertension and hyperlipidemia, and also good life habits are very significant.
