Abstract

Objective:To understand the clinical distribution characteristics of Acinetobacter baumannii in our hospital and its drug resistance to commonly used antibiotics in order to provide a scientific basis for the clinical treatment using antibiotics. Methods:The retrospective statistical analysis method was performed on the samples sources, distribution of infected departments and drug resistance in 570 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii. Results:Acinetobacter baumannii was mainly from sputum specimens, accounting for 72.5%,followed by secretion and blood;the clinical distribution was most in ICU,followed by the respiration department;the drug resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii was serious, the lowest resistance rate to cefoperazone/sulbactam was 6.7%,followed by amikacin, imipenem and meropenem, which were 10.3%,17.5%,and 18.8% respectively, the resistance rates to other antibiotics all were more than 60%.Conclusion:The clinical isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii are from sputum samples, the infection rate is highest in ICU ward, showing the high resistance to various antibiotics.Clinical surveillance on drug resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii should be strengthened to prevent dissemination and prevalence of resistant strains in hospital.
