Abstract
[Objective] The effect of physical conditions on the extraction of polysaccharides of Radix astragalus was studied.[Method] The effects of ratio of material to water, power, extraction time were determined by orthogonal design. [Result] The optimum condition was as follows:the ratio of solid to liquid was 30∶1,power was 120 W,extraction time was 1 h. The polysaccharide extraction rate was 92.1%. [Conclusion] The ultrasonic wave method had the advantage of saving time and energy as well as high ratio of extraction.
