Abstract

To discuss the optimum extraction of polysaccharides from Radix Scrophulariae. Methods:Orthogonal design was adopted to review the influence on the content of polysaccharides woked by the factors such as temperature, time,ph and the ratio of water and material and then confirmed the best extraction techniques. The determination of polysaeeharide was taken by phenol-sulfuric acid method.Result: The best technical conditions were as follows: Extraction time 50min,Extraction temperature is 50℃,Extraction pH=8,the ratio of material and water1:40,by which the content of lentinan in extraction of the rest part was increased to13.83%.Conclution: This method is simple, accurate and can be used to extract polysaccharides of Radix Scrophlariae
