Abstract
The careful and precise tones of the Muslim short lyrics are known to be the among the best of all styles of poetry. They are characterized by special stress upon the falling tone used at the beginning of a sentence to initiate a tone,or contrastively used with the level tone so as to achieve the effect of a flowing rhythm. The falling tone is also used in the twisted sentence in accordance with the metric patterns with an intention to polish the diction so as to create a meaningful realm of alertness and motion. This rule is accepted and considered as the golden precepts by later poets. This article offers an overall examination on the use of the falling tone in the Muslim short lyrics.
