Abstract
Chinese is a tone language.Tones are quite important in showing phonetic features of all the aspects.Chinese tone teaching,however,has not drawn enough attention for a long period.In light of its importance,the standards mandarin test as well as the problems in tone teaching,this paper puts forward the strategies including: ideas transforming,tone first and rhyme later,talking practice along with chanting,comparing practice among tones,the analogy and emphasis on memorizing and so on.
