Reform of RMB Exchange Rate Regime and Adjustment of Development Strategy and Relative Policies in China

Abstract
Firstly,this paper has reviewed the reform process of RMB exchange rate regime since the establishment of PRC.Then,based on examining the situation of RMB exchange rate,the conclusion is made that RMB is still under the pressure of appreciation after recent reform of its exchange rate regime,and after having summarized the relative literature of analyzing the causes resulted in the pressure of RMB appreciation,another conclusion is made that the pressure of RMB appreciation can be divided into short-run appreciation pressure and long-run appreciation trends.At last,the measures are put forward to relieve the short-run appreciation pressure of RMB.
