Comparative study about clinical effect of treat varicose veins in lower extremities between foam sclerotherapy and Long saphenous vein flush ligation and stripping

Objective: To compare the clinical effect of treat varicose veins in lower extremities between foam sclerotherapy of lauromacrogol and Long saphenous vein flush ligation and stripping.Methods:The data of 80 patients with varicose veins who were 2-3 CEAP grade and were classified randomly was collected from Nov 2011 to May 2012 in our hospital,and the recovery time and recurrence rate and complication after the treatment were observed.Results:No statistical significance were found in sexuality、age and CEAP grade between tranditional surgery group and foam sclerotherapy group(P0.05).The treat time of foam sclerotherapy group is less than tranditional surgery group(35min:70min,P0.05).Conclusion:Compared to tranditional surgery,foam sclerotherapy can shorten operation time and recovery time after surgery.
