Abstract

According to the dragon and tiger designs in the tombs of Puyang,Henan province about six or seven thousand years ago,of which the tiger culture represents the hunting and dragon culture represents ploughing,this paper demonstrates that the tiger culture with a long history originated earlier than the dragon culture .
