Abstract
Early in the Warring States period,the tiger culture in Dian Lake area of the Southwest border area has been very great prosperity. Traditions of Hani,Yi,Naxi,Lahu,Tujia,Jingpo nationalities in the southwest exist strong tiger totem worship belief,especially there have most characteristic in Shuang Bai county of Yunnan. The tiger worship cultural phenomenon should have close relationship with the tiger culture of the ancient Dian. The tiger cultural connotation and appreciation of the beauty in bronze vessels of ancient Dian has irreplaceable multidisciplinary value to interpret the origin and vicissitude of tiger culture in southwest region.
