Abstract

The technique of virtual instrument has been applied widely in many fields.In this paper,according to the request for a virtual instrument in radar automatic test system,the disadvantages of popular programming software for virtual instrument like Labwindows/CVI in numerical analysis and signal processing have been analysed first.Then a simple and easy technique of constructing virtual instrument was presented under the environment of Labwindows/CVI calling the functions in MATLAB toolbox with ActiveX technology,and an example of radar signal analysis virtual instrument was given to illustrate the process of realization.
