Abstract

The study was performed in the sixyear-old plantation Pinus massoniana Mixed with several broad-leaved species which were Liquidambar formosana,Michelia macclurei,Alniphyllum fortunei,Betula luminifera,Tsoongiodendron odorum,Liriodendron chinenses,Elaeocarpus sylvestris or Magnolia officinalis subsp.biloba.The result showed the growth of height and diameter of every species in the mixed plantations were higher than that of each pure one.
