Study on Properties of Electroless Ni-Cu-P Coating on Al Alloy As-cast

Abstract
The electroless plating Ni-Cu-P coating was applied on ZL104 alloy.Compared with the electroless plating Ni-P coating,the properties of Ni-Cu-P coatings were studied by potentiodynamic polarization,SEM,microhardness etc.The results show that the corrosion resistance,hardness and wear resistance of Ni-Cu-P coating are superior to those of Ni-P coating,which effectively protectes ZL104 alloy.
