Abstract
People have different ideas towards animals because of cultures,customs,religious and values.Animal words have abundant cultural connotations ,besides that they represent the animals themselves literally. The paper compares and contrasts the animal words in three aspects,that is,cultural connotation overlap,cultural clash and cultural gap.To be aware of such difference and similarity will be helpful for tran-cultural communication between the two people.
