On the Problems in the Development of China's Cultural Soft Power and the Way Out

As an important part of comprehensive national strength,cultural soft power has been an important concept in the world and a commanding point of international competition. Based on the current situation of China's cultural soft power,there is a good domestic and international environment, but there still exist a series of problems,which include the barrier of Cold War, threats of cultural hegemonism and Cultural imperialism, the conflict between modern culture and traditional culture, the weakness of hard power. In addition to these problems, the author thinks there are three problems,the definition of socialist cultural soft power with Chinese characteristics,the identification of Chinese culture and the discourse system of cultural communication, which cannot be ignored. Through analyzing these problems, this paper tries to propose some ideas and measures of solving them,and emphasizes on building the cultural soft power.
