Abstract
In order to study the influence of salt stress on seeds germination of Arabidopsis thaliana(L.) Heynh.,Columbia wild-type A.thaliana seeds were used as materials and inoculated into MS basic medium with 50,100,150,200 mmol/L NaCl,50,100,150,200 mmol/L KCl,and 100,200,300,400 mmol/L mannitol under the sterile conditions.Statistics were carried out for the seed germination rate for seven days. Results showed that when the concentration of NaCl,KCl,mannitol was 50,50,100 mmol/L,respectively,the seed germination rate was not significantly different from the control. When the concentration of NaCl,KCl and mannitol reached to 150,150 and 300 mmol/L,the seed germination rate was significantly lower than the control. With the increase of salt concentration in medium, the inhibitory effects on A.thaliana seeds germination and seedling growth were increased.
