Research on Historical Background and Classification of the Drum Dance of Miao Nationality in West Hunan

Abstract

Drum dance is one of most favorable art of Miao people,which demonstrates Miao people's life and spirit and carries out their customs.This article uses date,logic reasoning,and comparison to analyze the origin of drum dance as well as its development,classification and rhythm,aiming to put forward some suggestion for its further development in a tourism-focused industry.
