Abstract

Bacillus sp.B15which produces protease, amylase and antagonistic substance was identified by 16S rDNA sequence analysis. The homology of 16S rDNA sequence of the strain B15was 99% compared with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens subsp.plantarum AS43.3,and the strain B15was identified as Bacillus amyloliquefaciens subsp.plantarum.The protease activity of the mutant strain which through the twice UV mutation was 147.1% of the original strain B15.The amylase production was positively correlated with protease production in this study.
