Abstract

An isolated Bacillus strain with higher-yield protease was identified systematically through the physiological and biochemical detection method and the 16S rRNA sequence analysis. The results showed that the Bacillus strain had higher hydrolytic ability and showed positive lecithinase, hippurate. The protease activity was still available under 60℃.The homology of 16S rRNA sequence of this strain was up to 99.63% compared with Bacillus subtilis EHFS1-S02Hc.Therefore,the identified Bacillus strain might be a new subspecies or a biovariety of the species.
