The Current Research Status and Tentative Plan on Genetic Resources of Crops in Xinjiang

Corp genetic resources,especially wild relatives are very rich in Xinjiang.Nowadays,it has mid-term seed warehouse,which holds 57 kinds of crops seeds and nearly 20,000 copies of related scientific materials from more than 40 countries,Xinjiang and more than 20 provinces of China.It is existing many unbeneficial factors affecting crop genetic resources research,although much conservation works on crop germplasm resources have been done in Xinjiang.In this paper the status of researches on Xinjiang crop genetic resources has been reviewed,and the unbeneficial factors were also been analyzed,and suggestions on the establishing of genotypes collection and conservation system and germplasm evaluating and innovation in crops were put forward.
