Strategy of RMB Internationalization Development

Abstract

Internationalization of China currency RMB witnesses a rapidly development in recent years in the areas such as currency swap,cross-border trade settlement,RMB cross-border investment and financing,and RMB off-shore market improvement.This paper focuses on the research of benefit and risks from RMB internationalization based on the review of its development process and current situation.The author provides policy proposals on the expansion of cross-border trade settlement in RMB,financial market improvements,development of Hongkong off-shore financial market and Shanghai financial centre,RMB backflow mechanism,RMB exchange rate stability,reform and moderately open capital account.
