Abstract
Deserticulture in Ulan Buh Desert attracts lot of investments that are making changes in many elements of the local environment. This study explored beneficial condition and superiorities for deserticulture in the desert, and found the great potential of exploiting land and water resources.Studies on environmental risks involving deserticulture revealed human impacts on water and land resources.Water and soil contamination were stressed for environmental problems.Water and soil were rellocated and distributed differently from place to place, producing diverse spatial structures of oases, such as homocentric circular, stripline and scattered.Measures were suggested for protect the oasis environments on where deserticulture is based.
