Abstract

CDIO mode is an important outcome of the reformation of engineering education, which is applied in the domestic and international universities. The CDIO project teaching is the significant content of the mode, requiring teachers to design multilevel project, accomplishing the curriculum integration, developing students' abilities of conception, design, implementation, operation and engineering practice as well as the team cooperation ability. It demands that teachers must master the professional knowledge,be familiar with the engineering field operation practice and the practical engineering problems,at the same time change their own role, namely,CDIO teacher = university teacher + would-be engineer. To improve teachers' ability not only needs to control the process of introduction and train, but also can use CDIO project as a platform to strengthen the teacher'abilities of exploring and designing the project, through the process of teachers toward the project selection, conception, design, implementation, and operation.
