Abstract
The new International Standard for manual sampling of coal will be published and will replace the ISO 1988 《Hard coal-Sampling》.The new standard is remarkable different from the ISO 1988 and Chinese national standard GB 475-1996 in many aspects.The Chinese national standard should be revised correspondingly in order to fit this case.
