CLINCAL CHARACTERISTICS AND EEG CHANGES OF PATIENTS WITH TEMPORAL EPILEPSY

Abstract

Objective: To analyse the clinical characteristics of patients with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) and the localization of EEG. Methods: The EEG was recorded in 92 patients with TLE. Result: 42 patients with epileptiform discharge were in left temporal lobe, 29 in right temporal lobe and 21 in both temporal lobe, clinical characteristics is relationship with the position of epileptiform discharge, the conduction of epileptic wave contains volume and nerve conduction. Conclusion: Combining analysis of clinical characteristics and orig-ical position of epileptiform discharge contribute to localization of toci of epilepsy.
