Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of mechanical ventilation the treatment of acute left ventricular failure. Methods:While the routine drug therapy were abministered for 26 patients with acute left ventricular failure,16 patients received BiPAP,and 10 patients received mechanical ventilator followed urgent tracheal intubation. Results:PaO 2andPaCO 2were dramatically improve two hour after the mechanical ventilation were used( P 0.05).20 patients had a good results, and 6 patients died. Conclusion:Based on the clinical condittion, the mechanical ventilation could improve effectively hypoxia, hypercarbia and respiratory function caused by acute left ventricular failure, which is and effective method in the treatment of patient wth acute left vertricular failure.
