Abstract

Yan Emperor(Shen-nong)is one the greatest legendry chieftains of Chinese history who fashioned timber into ploughs, and taught people the art of husbandry. Yan Emperor is also an originator of traditional Chinese medical science, many famous physicians and pharmacologists of Chinese history as Bian Que, Hua Tuo, Zhang Zhongjing, Li Shizhen, etc., are his successors.The Chinese nation is a civilized country with long history, and it is because of the great achievement of agricultural modernization that Chinese have succeeded in economic reform and P.R.C has become prosperous and strong.
