Abstract
To solve the problems of low dye uptake and poor color fastness in cotton dyeing with natural dyes,a modifier HK is applied to treat the cotton fabric, and then dyeing process with natural dye extracted from walnut husk is carried out. Through the single-factor experiments, the optimized dyeing process is determined as follows: dye concentration 200 mL / L,dyeing at 60 ~ 70 ℃ for 60 min,pH value 10, bath ratio 1 ∶ 30. The results show that the dyeings without mordant achieve high dye uptake and good color fastness.
