Application of green walnut husk on dyeing wool fabric

In this paper,dyeing properties of green walnut husk on dyeing wool fabric were discussed.Firstly,green walnut husk pigment was extracted with hot water.Then,dye concentration,pH value,temperature were selected and the optimum conditions of dyeing wool fabric with green walnut husk were obtained by the orthogonal and single factor analysis experiments.The specific process conditions were as follows:pH value 4,temperature 70 ℃,dye concentration 90 mL/L,time 60 min,liquor ratio 1∶ 40.Secondly,wool fabric could gain different color with different mordants such as Al3 + 、 Fe2 + 、Cu2 +.Finally,the results indicated that fastness to washing and to rubbing was good and had reached more than three level.
