Abstract
It is necessary to consider the reasonable utilization of underground space in urban centers as well as the in- teraction between the high-rise building foundation and underground excavation. In order to deal with the influence a high-rise building foundation adjacent to the light rall tunnelⅡline in Chongqing city, this paper analyzes the interaction between the new tall building and underground excavation by use of finite dement method. The interaction of the pit slope excavation process, construction pile foundation loads and the tunnel are discussed. Some practical and useful conclusions of engineering technology are presented. It can offer some reference to the comprehensive utilization of urban underground space,in particular for handling similar projects construction of the underground engineering.
