Abstract

To explore and utilize the urban underground space, the mutual influence of the underground excavation and the foundations of building on each other is studied. In this paper, the evolvement law of stress and displacement in the rock-mass related to the underground excavation and the foundations of building is analyzed under the natural state, the state with the building on the ground and the state with the building on the ground and underground excavation by the 2D-σ/3D-σ program, taking account of a construction situation at Chongqing. The mutual influence between the underground excavation and the foundations of building is studied. The result will provide references for the under-ground space utilization and the project designing and the construction of the tunnel under buildings in the future.
