Comparison of the Therapeutic Effects of LCP,DHS and PFNA on Treatment of Unstable Fracture of Femurs Haft

Objective To compare the therapeutic effects of locking compression plate( LCP),dynamic hip screw( DHS),proximal femoral nail antirotation( PFNA) on treatment of unstable fracture of femurs haft.Methods Total of 68 patients with unstable fracture of femurs haft from Jan. 2011 to Oct. 2013 in Jinfeng People's Hospital was retrospectively analyzed,and then divided into three groups according to the treatment methods,LCP group with 21 cases were treated by LCP,DHS group with 23 patients treated by DHS and PFNA group with 24 cases treated by PFNA. The operative situation,therapeutic effects and postoperative complications of the three groups were compared. Results The joint function recovery situation of the three group had no statistically significant difference( H = 1. 31,P 0. 05),the postoperative complications incidence rates of PFNA and LCP group were 4. 3% and 4. 8%,which were significantly lower than that of DHS group( 16. 7%)( P 0. 05). There were no statistically significant differences between LCP and PFNA on the following aspects: operating time,bleeding,draining and healing time( P 0. 05),but they were both significantly better than those of DHS group( P 0. 05),the surgical incisions of PFNA group were significantly shorter than that of LCP and DHS group( P 0. 05),but there was no statistically significant difference between DHS and LCP( P 0. 05). Conclusion PFNA,DHS and LCP internal fixation treatment of unstable fracture of femurs haft are all effective,but PFNA and LCP are better than DHS in the operating time,intraoperative blood loss,healing time and postoperative complications.
