Application of Warm Mix Asphalt Mixture Technology in Asphalt Road

Abstract

The types of warm mix asphalt mixture technology and its main advantages were introduced and then the performance of warm mix asphalt(WMA)was compared with that of hot mix asphalt(HMA).The experiment results showed that there existed little difference between the performance indicators of HMA and WMA,and they can meet the requirements of the current standard specification.Furthermore,the high temperature performance and fatigue performance of WMA were better than that of HMA.
