Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical pathological significance of expression of DOG1 and CD117 in gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GIST).Methods: The expression of DOG1,CD117,CD34,SMA and S-100 was detected by immunohistochemical method in 40 cases of GIST.Results: Of the 40 patients, the positive rates of DOG1,CD117,CD34,SMA and S-100 were 97.5%,92.5%,80%,7.5% and 5% respectively. Conclusion: The combined detection of DOG1-1 and CD117 may enhance the sensitivity in the GIST diagnosis, and there was no association of the expression of DOG1 and CD117 on the GIST's developmen.DOG1protein was a more sensitive antibody which is assistance diagnosis for GIST,and have significance to guide the application of Imatinib and Sunitinib.
